Where Can I Go Swimming?

Check “Activities” then "Beaches" for a detailed description of local swimming beaches and suitability for your family. This site also has first aid and water safety.

How Can I Find Out About Fishing?

Go to “Activities” then “Outdoor” for fishing charter and local fishing businesses. For licences can be purchased at local Service Stations and General Stores. Send us an email or ph Debe  on 0428544279 as she spends a lot of time on all 3 lakes in their boat and is happy to answer all fishing and waterway questions.

Where Can I Walk My Dog?

There are designated off-leash areas in specific time periods in and around Seal Rocks and Pacific Palms. For information about off-leash areas.

How Can I Find Pet Friendly Accommodation?

Search for accommodation under our “Pet Friendly” heading. Please read the Terms and Conditions relating to pets carefully for each property.

Can I Hire A Kayak Or Canoe And Where Can I Launch?

Click on “Activities” then “Outdoor” to choose a local boat/canoe hire business. Most launch from Frothy Coffee Boat Shed onto Smiths Lake at the boat ramp.

Is Wifi Available In The Village?

Yes, at Kembali Café.

Where are the Boat Ramps?

  • Pacific Palms Recreation Club- into Wallis Lake
  • Frothy Coffee-  into Smiths Lake
  • Hearts Point , turn right off Seal Rocks Rd at the old fish co-op, into Myall Lakes
  • Brambles Reserve, on The Lakesway, into Smiths Lake.
  • Sth end of Elizabeth Beach for beach launch into the ocean for off shore fishing.

Where Are There Public BBQs?

  • In the park just north of Elizabeth Beach Surf Club
  • At the north end of Boomerang Beach
  • In the park at Frothy Coffee, Smiths Lake
  • None at Seal Rocks.

Where Are There Picnic Tables?

  • In the park just north of Elizabeth Beach Surf Club
  • At the north end of Boomerang Beach
  • In the park at Frothy Coffee, Smiths Lake
  • Sunset Park just north past the Pacific Palms Recreation Club
  • Brambles Reserve located on The Lakesway between Smiths Lake and Tarbuck Bay on the edge of Smiths Lake.
  • Boat Beach at Seal Rocks and opposite the General Store.

Playgrounds for Kids

  • Skate Park - Smiths Lake in Paradise Drive.  Tuncurry – turn left after driving across the bridge.
  • Playgrounds- Smiths Lake (Frothy Coffee) suits smaller children 2-10yrs of age.
  • Oval and free public tennis courts are located at the rear of Pacific Palms Public School in Boomerang Drive, Boomerang Beach.

Can I Light A Camp Fire?

No fires are to be lit directly on the ground as we are surrounded by National Parks and bushland. Camp fires must not be lit during dry, hot and windy conditions or when a total fire ban is in place. For fire ban information click on www.rfs.nsw.gov.au  and click on North Coast area to see what todays rating is.

Where Can I Go For A Walk?

For walking trails click on the “Maps” heading for information about our local National Parks and walking trails.

Where Can I Go Bike Riding?

For bike and BMX trails click on the “Maps” heading for information about

our local National Parks and bike trails.

Where Can I See A Kangaroo?

Small Wallabies can be seen in open paddocks and Sandbar Golf Course early mornings and often in late afternoons. Larger Grey Eastern Kangaroos are seen daily in paddocks around Coomba Park when going for a drive.

Where Can I See Farm Animals?

You will see farm animals by just driving or walking around Pacific Palms. You can stop and look or take photos from the road, but don’t go onto the farmland as it’s private property. Ask us about private property visits on local buffalo, sheep and chicken farms as they are available.

Can I Book A One night stay?

Some of the properties offer one night stays include, read property details to identify these.

Where Can I Go Wine tasting?

At our local Great Lakes Paddocks. Click on “Food & Wine” then “Wineries” for more details. Great music in the vines afternoons are often held here. Follow our pacificpalmstourist facebook page and keep an eye on our social schedule of events.

Where Are There Public Toilets?

  • In the park just north and adjacent to Elizabeth Beach Surf Club
  • At the north & south end of Boomerang Beach
  • At the south end of Blueys Beach
  • In the park at Frothy Coffee, Smiths Lake
  • Brambles Reserve located on The Lakesway between Smiths Lake and Tarbuck Bay on the edge of Smiths Lake.
  • Number One Beach at Seal Rocks.

Where Is There Overnight Camping?

There three caravan parks in Pacific Palms, Elizabeth Beach, Bushland & Sandbar and Oasis Caravan and camping grounds. Seal Rocks area has Treachery Camping Ground and Reflections Holiday Park.

I Want To Know About Driving With A Caravan Or Motorhome?

Most of our caravan parks can accommodate motor homes comfortably.
